Address
The hotel is located at Kaapstraat 39 in De Koog. Can’t find your navigation number 39? Then just enter Kaapstraat. It’s a short street, you can’t miss it.
TESO
To get to Texel, use the ferry service between Den Helder and Texel. You can find more information about departure times and costs on the TESO website: www.teso.nl. You automatically buy a return ticket. You do not need to show this when leaving the island.
Parking at the hotel
The hotel has a parking lot for guests. The car park is not spacious, but we do our best to find a parking space for every guest. There is therefore a maximum of 1 car per reserved room. There’s no room for trailers. It is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance.
The parking spaces for the disabled are only available to guests who have booked an Accessible room.
Parking on Texel with the Texelvignet
If you are going to explore the island with your car, it is wise to buy a Texelvignet. This is a (digital) parking card that allows you to park in the paid parking spaces. You need to pay for parking in villages and at the beach from 8 am to 8 pm. You buy a Texelvignet online or at a parking meter. You can also buy a parking ticket per hour at the machine.
Public transport
On Texel there is the Texelhopper for public transport. There is 1 permanent line going to and fro from the ferry via Den Burg to De Koog. This is bus line 28 whicht also takes you from the ferry to the hotel. Get off at busstop ‘Nikadel’ or ‘Badweg’.
For other rides on the island you must contact Texelhopper in advance and make a reservation.

Check-in & Check-out
You are welcome to check in from 3 pm. Have you arrived on the island before 3pm? Please feel free to come by and fill in the registration form. If your room is available ready, you will also receive the key card. Will you be checking in later than 6pm? Please let us know your expected time of arrival.
The reception is open from 8:30am to 10pm.
You need to check-out before 11 am.
Night entrance
From 10 pm the main entrance closes and you can use the night entrance. The night entrance is located on the side of the hotel and can only be opened with your key card.
Breakfast
All hotel rooms and suites are booked including breakfast. Our breakfast buffet is served from 8am to 10am in our Restaurant La Casserole.
The double apartment does not include breakfast, but of course you can book this extra if you wish.
Dogs
Dogs (maximum 2) are allowed in some rooms upon advance notice. There is also a charge for the dog’s stay.
Smoking
It is not allowed to smoke inside. Not with an e-cigarette or other smoking device, either. You may smoke outside on the terrace and balcony, but please close the door or sliding doors so that no smoke enters. Please use an ashtray.
Extra beds
Cycling
The hotel has a locked bicycle shed for guests who bring their own bicycles. Please indicate when you check in that you have your own bicycles, and we will adapt your key card for access to the shed. The space in the bicycle shed is limited. If there is no more space in the shed, you can put your bicycle outside in the bicycle racks. It is not possible to reserve a place in the parking facility.
There are 2 bicycle rental companies near the hotel. You can find more information about the different types of bicycles for rent on their website www.fietsenoptexel.nl and www.fietsverhuurdekoog.nl.
You can also rent a bike when you get off the ferry and cycle your way to the hotel by bike. It is about 13km. You will find more information on this website www.fietsverhuurtexel.nl.
Winter closure
During the winter months (December, January and February) the hotel is closed. Our reception is available during limited opening hours in that period.
